2ND Technical Session on Geosynthetics

The 2nd Technical Session on Geosynthetics was held on July 6, 2018 at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), on the theme “Solutions in geosynthetics to reinforce soft soils”.

This session was organized by the Portuguese Geosynthetics Commission (IGS-Portugal) of the Portuguese Geotechnical Society (SPG), and was supported by LNEC.

With the participation of 54 participants, designers, installers, producers, users, researchers and students, 6 lectures were given by speakers from Portugal and Spain, which addressed the most recent and innovative technological advances in soft soil reinforcement using geosynthetics.
