The CPT board supported the creation, in February 2021, of the Working Group 4 – BIM and Information Management in Underground Works, currently composed of 12 members covering a wide spectrum of the Engineering and Construction value chain.
Digitalisation is currently one of the central issues in the construction industry, which is why we are witnessing the growth in the number of publications on the subject, addressing not only buildings, but also increasingly infrastructure.
In this context, one of the goals of GT4 is to promote the dissemination of national and international developments in the BIM methodology applied to underground works, concerning in particular CPT members as well as the whole national geotechnical community.
To achieve this purpose, GT4 will regularly publish links to relevant documentation on the CPT website, accompanied by summaries that will clarify the most pertinent aspects of its content and scope.
