Training Program: Introduction to Practice in Underground Works
Module 1 – Mechanized Methods in the Construction of Underground Works
A The Portuguese Commission of Tunnels and Underground Space (CPT) (https://cpt.spgeotecnia.pt/), with the support of FUNDEC, organizes the training program: “Introduction to Practice in Underground Works”.
The program is organized by Modules and the theme of the first module will be “Mechanized Methods in the Construction of Underground Works”, held online on June 28th and 29, 2022.
The initiative has the support of the International Tunneling Association – ITA – ITACET, of the European Tunnel Forum – EUTF, of the Portuguese Geotechnical Society – SPG, of the Portuguese Association of Geologists – APG, of the Brazilian Tunnel Association – CBT, of the Lisbon Subway, of the Oporto Subway, of the Lisbon City Council – PGDL, among other important entities. It also has the sponsorship of: Spie Batignolles International, DrillCon Iberia, and CREG-Maquinter.
Aimed especially at engineers (civil, geologist and mine engineers), architects and geologists, this program aims to provide participants with training tools across the full range of the lecturers experience, which will allow to build a conceptual base and develop their activity in its full range of application, from industry to teaching and consulting.
