The Portuguese Committee of Geotechnics in Transportation and the Portuguese Commission of Gessynthetics organized the 1st Seminar on Geotechnics in Transport with the theme “Improvement, Reinforcement and Rehabilitation of Transport Infrastructures”.
The seminar was held on October 12 and 13, 2017, in the Auditorium of the Congress Center of National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), Lisbon.
In view of the investments planned for transport infrastructures and the importance of ensuring the principles of circular economy applied to civil engineering works, this seminar aimed to present geotechnical solutions for improvement, reinforcement and rehabilitation in the infrastructure, including road, rail, airport and sea-port infrastructures.
