Held on October 17, 2019, at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC) the annual meeting of the partnership BEFIPS, which brings together the associations of CPT of the Portuguese Geotechnical Society, representatives as Member Nations in ITA-AITES (International Tunneling and Underground Space Association) from Belgium (ABTUS), Spain (AETOS), France (AFTES), Italy (SIG) and Switzerland (STS-FGU).
Also present were the Presidents of the Member Nations of Germany (DAUB) and Austria (Österreichisches Nationalkomitee der ITA), members of the DACH partnership, with Switzerland.
The program included a meeting of the associations’ directorates and a technical visit. There was also a parallel program of young tunnel engineers, YBEFIPS.
