The high interest expressed in the 1st Edition of the Seminar held on April 7, 2016, in Lisbon, led the Organizing Committee to advance to the 2nd edition of the Seminar, which took place in Oporto on October 25 and 26, 2018.
The initiative of the 1st Seminar came after publication of EN1537: 2013 – Anchors in the field and its translation, carried out by the working group GT01, subcommittee SC10 – Tests of Geotechnical Structures and Execution of Special Geotechnical Works of the Technical Commission for Standardization CT156 – Geotechnics in Civil Engineering. It is intended to promote dissemination and implementation actions in order to frame the project, technologies for implementation, testing, observation and maintenance of anchorages in the field, as well as raising funds for the participation of its members in international meetings.
he seminar took place in Porto, in the EDP Auditorium, on October 25 and 26, 2018 and was organized by working group 01 (GT01) of SC10 (chaired by Eng. Ivo Rosa, from Teixeira Duarte), from CT156.
