SPG celebrated the 50th anniversary of Revista GEOTECNIA through a commemorative ceremony that took place on September 20 and 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm, in Lisbon (Spain: 3:00 pm; Brazil: 10:00 am). he event was held in person, at the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC), but with simultaneous live broadcast: https://videocast.fccn.pt/live/lnec/revista_geotecnia
The event’s program consisted of technical sessions for the presentation of Special Issue Nº 152 (2021) and the delivery of the magazine’s Úlpio Nascimento awards. The event was attended by representatives of the three societies associated with the magazine, Sociedade Portuguesa de Geotecnia (SPG), Brazilian Association of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ABMS) and Sociedad Española de Mecánica del Suelo e Ingeniería Geotécnica (SEMSIG), as well as as well as the sponsoring companies (magazine and event) and LNEC.
