The 4th Technical Session on Geosynthetics on the theme “Geosynthetics applications in maritime, river and coastal erosion control ” was held at the Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC), on July 1st 2022.
This session was organised by the Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC) jointly with the Comissão Portuguesa de Geossintéticos (IGS-Portugal) and the Sociedade Portuguesa de Geotecnia (SPG) and was sponsored by Geosin/Tencate.
The session took place during the morning and 6 lectures were delivered.
With the presence of approximately 50 participants, including designers, installers, producers, users, researchers and students, this session promoted the dissemination of applications and the discussion of the behaviour of geosynthetics in the case studies presented.
