Sob os auspícios da Comissão Portuguesa de Geotecnia Ambiental da Sociedade Portuguesa de Geotecnia e do ISSMGE TC307 – Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering, o Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC) está a organizar a 1st International Conference on Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering – Geodiversity & Resilience (1st ICSGE’21), a qual terá lugar no Centro de Congressos do LNEC (Lisboa, Portugal), em data a confirmar (Website: http://icsge.lnec.pt).
No presente estão confirmadas as 7 Keynote Lectures seguintes:
- Dipanjan Basu (Canadá): “Sustainability and Resilience: An Integrated Approach”
- Ricardo Trigo (Portugal): “Climate change scenarios in Europe: increasing impacts of extreme events”
- Anand Puppala (EUA): “A Multi-criterial quantitative framework to assess sustainability and resiliency of ground improvement studies for civil infrastructure”
- Krishna R. Reddy (EUA): “Innovative, environmentally friendly and energy efficient geotechnical techniques”
- Arul Arulrajah (Austrália): “Sustainable usage of recycled materials in transportation geotechnics”
- Antonio Gens (Espanha): “Deep underground repositories for high level nuclear waste”
- José Brilha (Portugal): “Geoethical principles applied to geoheritage conservation”
Dos quatro Cursos de curta duração previstos (consultar por favor o Website), já está confirmado o Curso “Sustainable Engineering: Drivers, Metrics, Tools, and Applications”, que será coordenado pelo Prof. Krishna R. Reddy (University of Illinois at Chicago, EUA).
