14TH ANNUAL MEETING

The Portuguese Geptechnical Society (SPG) organized its 14th Annual Meeting, which included a Special Conference given by the member Jaime Santos, Professor of the Instituto Superior Técnico, with the theme The role of dynamic tests in the geotechnical characterization, and the General Assembly of SPG.

The opening session was traditionally attended by Engineer Carlos Pina, President of the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering.

The presentation of the speaker of the Special Conference was made by Alexandre Pinto, Vice-President of SPG, and thanks by José Mateus de Brito.
