Transportation Geotechnics Seminar “Current and future challenges in Tranportation Geotechnics”, 24 and 25 November 2025, Guarda, Portugal

The Portuguese Commission on Geotechnics in Transportation organized, on November 24 and 25, 2025, at the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, the 2025 Seminar on Geotechnics in Transportation, with the theme “Current and Future Challenges in Geotechnics for Transportation.”

The event was dedicated to sharing experiences and technical knowledge in the field of geotechnical engineering for transportation, where construction projects and innovative technologies were presented and discussed, culminating in a technical tour of the Porto Seco da Guarda, the first project of its kind currently under construction in Portugal.
